Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions shall apply to the provision of IT Services by the Provider to the Client.
In the event of conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any other terms and conditions (of the Client or otherwise), the former shall prevail unless expressly otherwise agreed by the Provider in writing. A number of IT services have important intellectual property implications. When buying services such as IT consultancy, web design and website hosting, MATEM.CO.UK understands the importance of clients having contracts drawn up clearly. This is to ensure customers keep any intellectual property rights that might benefit their business.

When MATEM.CO.UK (the third party) register a domain name on your behalf - eg an internet service provider - we make sure it's registered in your name

When using MATEM.CO.UK to design your website - we make sure you hold the rights to any intellectual property in the design

If using MATEM.CO.UK IT consultancy to build a proprietary software package - We advise you either take ownership of the package or pay a lower price if the MATEM.CO.UK (the developer) retains ownership.

MATEM.CO.UK will use reasonable care and skill to perform the Services identified in the Agreement or otherwise prior agreed in writing by the director and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

MATEM.CO.UK will use reasonable endeavours to maintain the functionality of any serviced managed by us.

Upon receipt of the Client’s request for support or rectification of a defect, MATEM.CO.UK shall Endeavour to rework on such support or defect within 24 hours (this stands during bank & national holidays).

All regular payments for Services provided under the Agreement shall be paid by the Client monthly in advance without any set-off, withholding or deduction except such amount (if any) of tax as that party is required to deduct or withhold by law.

Payments shall be made by direct debit, BACS, or as otherwise directed by MATEM.CO.UK in the Agreement.

If the Client wishes to vary any details of the services in the Agreement, it must notify MATEM.CO.UK via email as soon as is reasonably possible via (Management@matem.co.uk).

We (MATEM.CO.UK) may terminate the agreement if the Client has entered into liquidation whether compulsory or voluntarily or compounds with its creditors generally or has an administrator, administrative receiver or receiver appointed over all or a substantial part of its undertaking or assets.

We (MATEM.CO.UK) may terminate the agreement if the Client has become bankrupt or shall be deemed unable to pay its debts by virtue of Section 123 of the Insolvency Act 1986

MATEM.CO.UK shall not be liable to the Client or be deemed to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of MATEM.CO.UK's obligations if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond the Provider's reasonable control.

MATEM.CO.UK may not use any confidential information for any purpose other than the performance of his obligations under these Terms and Conditions.

MATEM.CO.UK may sub-contract to third parties all or any part of the work to be performed hereunder.
